PUBLIC CONSULTATION SESSION ON THE LESOTHO ELECTRICITY COMPANY’S (LEC) TARIFF ADJUSTMENT APPLICATION FOR 2008/9

Lesotho Electricity Authority (LEA) wishes to inform the general public that following its announcement that it had received the application by Lesotho Electricity Company (LEC) (Pty) Ltd, to adjust electricity tariffs for 2008/9 by 35% it has obtained some responses from stakeholders.  

By this notice, the general public is informed that the LEC, and members of the public who indicated in writing that they would like to present their views before the LEA Board, will be given an opportunity to do so in a public consultation session that will be held at Lehakoe Club at 12h00 to 15h00 on Thursday March 20, 2008.

The LEA wishes to thank all the stakeholders who have participated in this consultative process so far.
