The Lesotho Electricity Authority (LEA) held a stakeholder workshop on Rural Electrification in Lesotho on 15 June 2009. The purpose of the workshop was to ensure that all key electrification stakeholders in Lesotho are knowlegeable about pertinent issues such as goals, plans, regulations and costs involved in RE. At the same occassion the Rural Electrification Fund was launched by the LEA Board Chairperson Mr. Zola Tsotsi.
